Through this community partnership, Carolina Sportscare provides aquatic therapy and rehabilitation services at both the Wardle Family YMCA and James Fisher Memorial Foundation YMCA, bringing specialized rehabilitation services into a supportive YMCA environment.

Meet Kevin Green, PTA, MLDT, ARS
The Only Certified Aquatic Rehabilitation Specialist in the Lowcountry
Carolina Sportscare's aquatic therapy program is led by Kevin Green, PTA, MLDT, ARS, an experienced physical therapist assistant with specialized training in aquatic rehabilitation.
As the only certified Aquatic Rehabilitation Specialist (ARS) in the Lowcountry, Kevin brings a unique level of specialized expertise to patients receiving aquatic therapy at our YMCA locations.
His expertise allows patients to benefit from individualized aquatic rehabilitation programs that use the therapeutic properties of water to support recovery, mobility, strength and overall function.
What Is Aquatic Therapy?
Aquatic therapy uses the natural properties of water, including buoyancy and resistance, to create a supportive, lower-impact environment for rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise.
The buoyancy of water can reduce stress on joints and make movement more comfortable, while water resistance provides a versatile way to work on strength, mobility, balance and function.
Carolina Sportscare incorporates aquatic rehabilitation into individualized treatment plans based on each person's abilities, needs and rehabilitation goals.
Aquatic therapy may be incorporated into rehabilitation for individuals with a variety of orthopedic and neurological needs, injuries and conditions. Carolina Sportscare's aquatic rehabilitation program works to help patients improve movement and function so they can return to the activities that matter most to them.
